General Guideline for Renunciation

• Requirements of Renunciation of Bangladesh nationality
• The following documents are required for renunciation (Cancellation) of Bangladesh nationality and obtain certificate of renunciation from the Embassy:
• Filled in application form for renunciation of Bangladesh nationality
• Photocopy Bangladeshi passport (All page)
• Naturalization Certificate from the foreign nationality
• 02 Copies of recent passport size photographs
• A copy of payment confirmation 

• Renunciation fees: DKK 450.00 (Four hundred fifty Danish Krone), fees are non-refundable, payment must be made separately for individual applicant.

Renunciation for children (Under 12) from parents passport 

• Filled in application form for renunciation of Bangladesh nationality (Signature by Mother and Father as passport signature)
• Photocopy Bangladeshi passport (Father, Mother and Children)
• Naturalization Certificate from the foreign nationality
• 02 Copies of recent passport size photographs
• A copy of payment confirmation 
• Renunciation fees: DKK 450.00 (Four hundred fifty Danish Krone), fees are non-refundable, payment must be made separately for individual applicant.

Important Note:

      To get final renunciation certificate, the approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Dhaka, Bangladesh is required and it takes around 06 (Six) months to 02 (Two) years.
